Dennis Chambers was the drummer for Steely Dan and Parliament Funkadelic. Personally I prefer his work with Parliament [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] Sly is from Sly & Robbie. I chose people from all over, not just Jazz.

In short, I chose from a wide range of players but there wasn't a metal drummer who really stood out as above and beyond better than the rest. Niel Pert would come very close, but I can't consider him in the same breath as someone like Peter Erkskin who does what Niel can do better.
