You have to bet as this is a drawy board. As played call but expect to see KK / AA here alot. (AA more likely).

I'd check behind on the flop. You stand to lose a lot vs AA/KK in this hand and stand to win a little vs QQ/JJ. The draws shouldn't concern you, as Villain is unlikely to have them.
I'd fold to this check/shove readless. Unless you have a read that he is a big bluffer/total manaic that stacks off w/ less than top pair, I'd give him credit for a big hand. If he is that type of player, you'll get his money eventually. Sometimes he will have AK here and steal a pot from you, but I don't think that the times you call and split make up for the times you call and are crushed by AA/KK. |

Villain probably does this with AK, AQdd, AA/KK, maybe 66/77 but I don't think we can put that in an unknown's 3betting range (even if it's against a perceived steal).
Even though we're getting 2:1, if he has AK we're splitting, and we're not that far ahead of AQdd to make up for AA/KK. (flush draws would have to make up ~half his range for us to get enough equity). Given enough time to work through it, I think a fold is clear. |
