Re: NFL games on TV/Horrible choices
[ QUOTE ]
So, you're saying that I shouldn't be upset that I don't regularly get Green Bay games down in Atlanta? I mean, Brett Favre was once a Falcon, so they should all be Packer fans down here. Amirite? [/ QUOTE ] Wait, what? No, urnotrite. |

Re: NFL games on TV/Horrible choices
SD/Oak is going to end up being a much better and more meaningful game than you think. Those are the two best teams in the NFC West and this game is vital for both of them.
Both Dallas and NE will end up with first round byes imo and this game won't be that meaningful. |

wait NE/Dallas is not going to be Sunday night? Whats the point of flex scheduling? [/ QUOTE ] I think that starts in week 11. Personally, I like having a big game on Sunday afternoon. That's how it should be. And the 4:15 start is perfect. Time to build up to it, only a couple other games on to distract you. Nantz and Simms are okay. I'm pumped. If you don't get the game in your area, I agree, go to a bar. The atmosphere for this kind of game is worth it. |

wait NE/Dallas is not going to be Sunday night? Whats the point of flex scheduling? [/ QUOTE ] Flex scheduling doesn't start until Week 11. That also explains why the schedule lists 11 morning games and only 2 afternoon games for week 11--the NFL will divide the morning and afternoon games and decide the flex game at the same time (12 days before the games). http://www.nfl.com/schedules/tv/flexible |

Does it bother anyone else that a lot of the best NFL games are impossible to watch unless you have sunday ticket. [/ QUOTE ] It used to before I had Sunday ticket. Now I'm happy knowing that I'm better than everyone else. |

Re: NFL games on TV/Horrible choices

You're just begging for a smug "get Sunday ticket" reply. But seriously, DTV doesn't cost any more than cable. If you love football I don't see any reason you wouldn't get it unless you have a landlord who is a big nit. [/ QUOTE ] The sole reason I don't have it is b/c Comcast won't let them carry Comcast Sportsnet - I'd have to give up >75% of Phillies games. |
