After having lived in the Wilderness Society House, (The aussie version of greenpeace), in Cairns for five years, I feel qualified to state my position that in general hippy chicks are the rank. I saw an endless parade of hippy females in that time and for the most part it was not pretty. Maybe it was due to my small objections at their lack of personal hygine in a tropical climate. But apperance aside, I think hippy chicks suck in regards to their personal values.

They preach free love and free this and free that, but at the end of the day only when it suits them. They don't get a regular job as they don't want to buy into the "system" but they continually use the same system to get by on unemployment benifits etc. They won't get a car as they don't want to contribute to the "polluting of the earth", but they're more than happy to grab a lift with you whenever they can. When it's their turn to cook they'll come up with some horrible foul tasting mush that is "ecologically viable" but just really means it cost them nothing to make, but they're the first in line to eat when you prepare chilli mud crab in a red wine sauce.

And the thing that really makes me laugh is how quickly all these same values and ways to live your life go out the window when it suits them. Oh, and they're generally useless in bed.

I think the best thing for OP to do in this situation is tell her you need to take her picture and post it on 2+2 and let the members decide whether she can stay or not. Amirite?
