Re: How is this an autocall?
People are calling all-ins with 87, T9 at the 225s/555s... Some what having odds but this isn't poker. I don't even know what this is. I know sngs are a #s game and all, but the rationale is crazy. Why would people shove any 2 any more? They are getting called all day long. A4 is now almost guaranteed to be ahead late when 2 players are all-in. Hell I saw JT shoved and 98 called. Time to strategize how to counter all of this.

Re: How is this an autocall?
jared,
play around with the icm, i'm sure you have sngpt. T9 really isn't as bad a call as you'd think a lot of the time. looser the pushes the looser the calls should be, clearly, and many of the big stakes "pros" have the mistake of pushign way too loose. these guys seem to be capable of like 1 adjustment each, so honestly i expect them to be busto pretty quick if they keep playing like this. citanul |

[ QUOTE ] Why would someone call loose because I call loose? If I push all the time then they should do so. [/ QUOTE ] you're not retarded are you? if you are making mistakes purposefully to do things to your opponents, the good ones are sometimes going to do the same things too. this is in the nature of sngs where your mistakes are costing you both money. clearly in a cash game unless the villain was a moron they would just sit there and watch you (make you) go broke. in sngs they want to remind you that you're a douchebag who's costing everyone money. this isn't to say that the spite call doesn't have a place, it's to say that expecting them not to be returned is silly. citanul [/ QUOTE ] calling loose doesn't = mistake. It means I'm calling loose because I feel his range may be exceptionally wide. I felt that it might very well not be a mistake to call. This wasnt a pure spite call. I only said about 2-3 times that I felt it might be a +EV call, yet Ill refrain from calling you retarded despite your lack of reading comprehension. That combined with metagame stuff, made me call. I wouldn't have called if I was offsuit. |

Can someone run it? against 50% (way tighter than he would be), 60%, 80% etc. Im in middle of a session so I can't right now. |

Re: How is this an autocall?
Oh I'd guess its prolly +ev since I'd guess he's pushing 70% there.
The don't [censored] with me stuff was replying to "I dunno, I was sweating some of these games and I remember that a regular made a loose call on Big Joe and he was pretty upset about it, he said that the favor would be returned. Not sure if this applies to you or not though. " |

Re: How is this an autocall?
Interesting.....What do we think his range was? I bet it was +EV after all when combined with metagame reasons, makes this a slam dunk call in my book.

Re: How is this an autocall?
My first thought was 70%
22+,A2s+,K2s+,Q2s+,J2s+,T2s+,93s+,84s+,74s+,63s+,5 3s+,43s,A2o+,K2o+,Q3o+,J5o+,T6o+,96o+,86o+,76o sounds about right |

Re: How is this an autocall?
I would tend to think it would be a little tighter b/c the other shortie is about to hit the blinds.
60% maybe? |
