Re: Mini poker chips?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Shockingly each coin could easily be multiplied by some factor to meet the required stakes. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah thats a good idea at the end of the night you just buy everyones pennies for $1 each, and there nickles for $5 each, I'm sure thats going to work out real well for you. As for using paper money. Paper money is a hassle to play poker with. Sure you can do it, but it slows up the game. [/ QUOTE ] If you sell them to the players at those prices I don't see where the problem comes in. But if I am going to bust out an impromptu poker game with friends I think we could be adult enough with each other to settle up at the end of the night. |

But more often than not there is going to be some extra change in the game that you didn't sell. Maybe not your particular friends, but its not advisable to use common coins that everyone is likely to have on them as chips (unless at face value in a cash game) |

Re: Mini poker chips?
They make these mini $1 chips, too, in both silver and gold colors. I think those along with $10 and $20 bills should be fine for a small impromptu game among friends.

Re: Mini poker chips?
I found cheap, nickle-size (7/8") plastic chips at http://www.greathallgames.com/aacc/a...hipsDrops.html I was hoping to find chips with a little more size and weight to them (and edgespots), but it looks like there aren't any. |
