1) If you check the flop you get to see how everyone acts before the action gets to the raiser;

people tend to check to the raiser, which tells us nothing. Then the raiser bets, and we are stuck between a bettor and the field. That can be a nightmare.

in other words your position relative to the PFR is irrelevant correct?

its best to be closing the action. The bigger the pot and the more you know about the field (you don't expect additional raises) the better. In a multiway pot hands that can also make a straight increase in value, for example in a 6 way pot with a 19% PFR and 4 guys playing around 35% of their hands the hero will have 19% equity with 52s, but only 14% equity with 82s.

After experimenting a lot with the any 2 suited concept I've come to the conclusion this works best in huge multi-way pots where the implied odds exist to hit some monsters (I do not have the imperial evidence to back this theory up yet), however I will play hands like 53s vs a 40% steal raiser. Once a third person enters the pot equity decreases so much that 53s doesn't make sense to play until its a 5 handed multi-way pot.

next question - what are the odds of flopping a flush draw?
