Villan is a lagtard

[/ QUOTE ]

What does that mean? His play doesn't look lagtardish...

Maybe I should have provided a more detailed read.

What I ment was, he is overly agressive in small pots pots, overvaluing marginal hands and bluffing a lot. He is relatively passive pre-flop.

And when I'm called, it seems in so many cases that villain is holding, say, Q4 or something and just c/c all the way. So I lose a bet here by trying to get value.

[/ QUOTE ]

If we believe villain to be capable of c/c with Q4 all the way, its pretty understandable to think he is c/c to let us 3 barrel A high UI and catch a bluff with a weaker jack, pp, etc.

Why didn't you bet the river?

Personally I would have bet the river here. He has shown no strength and from your revised read it sounds like hes one of those players who can't wait to see showdown. A raise on the river however does put you in a tough situation but considering its one more bet, I'd probably bet/call this.

Well, I wasn't sure ... thats why I posted it

PF his range is truly ATC. So I put him on air with an overcard that he is probably not calling with most of the time. The rest of the time he has Qx and is letting me do the betting, a straight draw, a weak J or A7 or stupid 2 pair. He is calling with Qx and Jx (probably not A7 but who knows ...), raising the two pair and folding everything else

I'm thinking that betting is better than checking but its probably not a huge difference. I guess I could find a fold if I get raised, but it it would suck so bad against this guy.
