Actually a number of bets I made were on pinny, I think that where you bet doesn't matter that much, it's all just about getting the best price.

FWIW you can get most of his bets at his price if you act fast enough with a bit of lineshopping.

I recommend sites such as caribsports, 5dimes, pinnaclesports, mansion & wsex, also sportsinteraction for late lines.

[ QUOTE ]
im looking to experiment with crockpot's picks...it seems people have had good results...im a poker player and really sportsbet for fun...i have a few questions of the picks...how many people bet all the picks vs pick the ones they like? Is there any kind of correlation factors that make it better to take all the picks? Also, i can only bet on bodog...thats where i keep my money for poker...Now bodog lines are never as favorable as what is posted, should i be dropping the lines that are not close to what crockpot posts? For instance today, SD runline is +140 on bodog, not +155 -- is there a point where his picks become unprofitable? Thanks guys...

[/ QUOTE ]

Sure, there is a point at which unprofitable lines become profitable and vice versa.

A drop from +155 to +140 lowers your edge by 6-7% (depending on what the original edge was). If crockpot had it listed as a two unit bet at +155, I'd bet one unit at +140. If he had it listed as a one unit bet at +155, I'd lay off at +140.

NYM/Fla U 10 -103 (1), if you don't mind me asking, why do you see this as an Under? Just trying to get your insight is all, hate picking against you

[/ QUOTE ]Japanese pro games are actually kind of boring, except for Tigers/Giants games. The summer national high school baseball tournament is way more exciting. I still remember seeing Matsuzaka in Koshien about 10 years ago. ;-)

late now, but basically the system likes pelfrey and nolasco more than vegas apparently does. also the mets and marlins have both had overachieving offenses so far.
