I did a bankwire with UB a couple months ago. It took a few weeks iirc, which was a little annoying, but it eventually came through.

Hey guys, what's the fee for this and how long does it take ? I can move funds to any Site I would want (FTP, Stars and so on) but need to know which is best for it and how much I will lose in the progress .. (I would like to cash out between 35-60k depending on progress time and fees)

For stars there are no fees cashing out on their end. There may be fees from your bank though.

also, im wiring money down to bellagio for the series, figure it would be easiest way to get a lot of money over the border. Anyone have their aba number and such, plz PM me.

[/ QUOTE ]

just call their main number and ask for the cage...you or anybody you know can wire money there on your behalf...as long as your name is in the 'reference' section, you can pick up the money w/ a photo ID at the main cage

FWIW i'd reccomend doing your 'banking' at Bellagio to the Rio, and it isn't close. rio seems to treat everybody like a low stakes slot player and the bellagio knows how to cater to the big players. far better to fanny-pack bricks of cash to the rio and keep it all parked at bellagio

[/ QUOTE ]
I wish this were possible, but alas I sent Bellagio an email asking about wiring info and this was the first line of the reply i got:

Dear Sir,
Your recent e-mail requesting information for wiring funds for your upcoming trip has been forwarded to me.

You may wire funds from the UK to Bellagio. These funds would be for gaming purposes. We do not give out large amounts of cash for wires that we receive.

So looks like wiring to Rio for wsop donkaments is probably the only way? I'd appreciate any real info on how that's done in a way which does not involve having to "pre-register" on the WSOP website (since I am not 100% on which events im playing and also need to wire extra money to back a friend for some events, so would just prefer the cash there at rio to register with myself). stephenNUTS's post looks promising, but where did u find that page from on the harrahs site???? I looked everywhere. Also, on that form what would one's customer account number be?

Would really really appreciate some fast help on this

AHNULD, sending you a pm with bellagio details in a second once I remember how

This sounds like total BS, and I'd like some clarification. Are they saying they'll allow you to wire money to Bellagio but won't give you the option of "chips or cash" when you go to retrieve it at the cage--which is an option they have given me EVERY time I received a wire at the Bellagio?

Hello,

I am planning a vegas trip for 6 weeks, leaving from UK in 3 weeks time. I am a UK citizen. Is it possible for me to open some sort of account that I can wire money to from my UK bank, so that i can have access to the money from your casino cashier? If this is possible, what GBP/USD exchange rate would I get? Would it be possible for any remaining money to be wired back to my UK bank account at the end of my trip? Would there be a different exchange rate for wiring USD to GBP? Thanks for any details you can give me on this

i got this reply:

Dear Sir,
Your recent e-mail requesting information for wiring funds for your upcoming trip has been forwarded to me.

You may wire funds from the UK to Bellagio. These funds would be for gaming purposes. We do not give out large amounts of cash for wires that we receive. I can not confirm what the exchange rate would be. The rate is set by the sending bank and we would receive the US value of the funds. Upon your return you could send the remainder of your funds back to the same account it was sent from. We would send it as US value and the receiving bank should convert it to the UK value if it is a UK account. We would need for you to provide us with the banking information if you chose to wire back your funds.

I would also like to inform you that we can wire back any gaming funds you win. However, you would have to place your chips on deposit and be sure you are rated during your play by using one of our Players Club Cards. Gaming laws prohibit us from wiring any cash we receive.

I have included the wire instructions below and if you have any further questions please let me know.

Sincerely,
Nancy Miller
Director of Cage Operations

Were u given the "chips or cash" option for withdrawing big $$ amounts? Maybe if you're only doing a little at a time they dont mind giving u the cash. Or maybe they're saying this to me because im not a US citizen or like a known regular player at bellagio?

I don't really know, and the amounts I was dealing with weren't too large, probably between 5-15K at a time. It sounds like you can wire the money to Bellagio, retrieve the funds in the form of chips and try to use those to trade/buyin at the Rio (that is what you are trying to do, right?), but there are a couple of well-documented risks when it comes to dealing with high-denomination chips and ultimately trying to cash them out. If the Rio does indeed accept Bellagio chips and/or you know a lot of high stakes gamblers in Vegas, it seems like wiring to the Bellagio is a fine option for you, if not you better find a different way.
