On an aside: Are we checking with AK on this turn?

[/ QUOTE ]

yes

Pardon a simple limit donk for asking... but why? Because worse hands fold, aq owns us and we want to induce bluffs?

you can also make a semi bluff / blocking bet on the turn, when you get called you can check / fold the river when he bets out. But there is also a good chance that your opponent folds after your turn bet...

He has position on you so he calls probably with a wide range of hands including QK..

or do you think i use a wrong line of reasoning..?

Villain is 35/21 over 14 hands, so non real reads.

Have to raise at least $11 here pf. Flop is fine. I actually lead into him on this turn if he's aggro because I don't want him having like JJ and using A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] as a scare card. leading for 1/2 pot on turn is ok against aggressive players. If he's unknown I'm still leading because unless he has AQ or a set I'm ahead.

I really think checking here is giving up on the hand, any decent player will bet it and you have to fold.

Actually I rethought this hand and like Jay's line better.

C/C turn and C/F river. COACH ME PLEASE.
