What is the point of going to the moon again? Do we need more rocks? Every time the shuttle goes up, it's for either a scientific mission or to fix a billion dollar satellite. The shuttle currently has not need to go any further into space, nor does NASA want to spend the money to build another rocket that can go further into space to do something that was done 50 years ago and will serve absolutely no scientific purpose.
