Re: Flopped flush from stox video
I would never do this. I I would need a pretty thorough explanation to understand why this is good.
If you dont raise it button cant 3-bet it (or call and have BB 3-bet) Seems to me that Stox's flop and turn line are leaving money on the table. But I wasnt there playing it, so... |

Re: Flopped flush from stox video
BB has prolly not K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]X or As[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]X because he leads the turn and it is 3 way. So if Btn call one bet but fold for two, we gain one bet often. But not too often because there is many scary cards on the river for BB if he has 9X.
With a call on the flop 9X is very unlikely for the Btn. If Btn has a set or JT, he raises the turn so there is no difference if we call or raise the turn. 2pair is not very likely for btn, he doesn't seem too loose and he CC pf, so there is just 98s and 87s maybe. Anyway with 2 pair he raises the turn very often. If Btn has a small [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or maybe 8X he call 1 but fold for 2. So we loose nothing if we call, and we can win one bet if BB has top pair. If Btn has K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]X or As[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]X we loose one bet or sometimes 2, if there is no spade on the river. If Btn has the nut flush we save a bet. It's not clear for me call is best line because there is not too much lone small spade in the range of a not too loose button who CC, but we can't loose much with this line. |
