You don't know what kind of position this guy was in. 167k might solve a lot of problems in his life and he wanted to be 100% sure that he got it. Nothing wrong with that.

I watched it for the first time last night (at gfs, I dont get cable) and I am now stupider. Nothing like a game show with no skill required.
Although when he had the 500k and the $300 bucks left, they offered in 250k, which was slightly -ev. |
