If you are such a pussy that you cant carry half a brick in your pocket, you should rethink how much you are bringing... [/ QUOTE ] I'd invite you to "reread" my post, but it's clear you never read it in the first place. I hope I'm being leveled here. |

I find it kind of shocking that they'd be doling out 20s.... but then again, it's BofA, and they suck horse nuts!!! |

Try traveler's checks. I used to do this every year when I would visit and bring $5k+ for the two weeks.

Maybe they were confused as to why an idiot would bank with a place that doesnt have any banks in their home state OR 2. They were confused that the same person would also not check to see if one was in Vegas. Either way, it is obvious that they are all idiots. |

[ QUOTE ]
I'm a Colorado resident, but my banks (BofA + eTrade) don't have branches in this state. I'm headed to Vegas this coming Thursday, and I'd like to bring $5000 in cash. I'm staying at the Bellagio- I know they will cash a check (max $1000?) at the cage for me.... but I'm wondering what the best way to get $5k in cash would be. Does anyone know what the general ATM limits are in Vegas? Should I just wire the money? I'd EFT the cash to my local credit union, but I am sure there is some sort of "hold" period where I wouldn't be able to withdraw it. (I've tried searching, but I guess I haven't found the optimal search term.) [/ QUOTE ] You might look into setting up an account at Bellagio and wiring the money in. |
