Personally I don't like calling all-in with small PP's unless I'm really short stacked, if I end up in a flip having shoved in the first place I don't mind but we're basically accepting that as a best case scenario here. I'd rather wait and find a shove before the blinds hit us again.

i like calling this out of the blind, i think this is probably like neutral EV if hes shoving <20% and you can safely assume hes always shoving wide enough with like 3bb IMO. also since youre in the sb the fear of an overcall is minimal.
edit: if you have a read he wont shove loose then fine but even players who are play as bad nits in the early game loosen up immensely at this level with their stacks. also the fact that its 7 handed makes me more inclined to take this generally because i dont think the randoms' pushing range tighten up anymore 7 handed than it would 6, but you're that much further from the prize pool. . |
