Also, don't stake anyone except for good friends you know in real life who due to very strange circumstances could use a stake.

I feel like there are a lot of profitable situations that come up. Sometimes the person will be a douche bag, but doesnt mean as a whole not +ev.

You must admit, that this clarification leaves the waters much murkier. How many people have to be burned before everyone else realises that staking arrangements should clearly state all terms like makeup, timeframe, stakes, ending conditions, etc. It sounds to me like he was reckless and should therefore eat the losses himself. It also sounds like you were an idiot.

TWP,

For now it was 100% clear he was only to play 2/4. If he had success, I assumed he would talk to me about it and then I could decide if I wanted him to move up. He is 100% out of line. What did I do what was stupid?

I said basically once he won 6k or something he could play 3/6 and then if continued to pwn could try 5/10.

I think expecting 4k back is fine, but beyond that is too iffy given that you didn't have all the guidelines very clearly laid out prior.

25/50 lol

TWP,

He had no business moving up yet, especially not to 5/10. I was somewhat clear on when to move to 3/6 (after winning x amount, but I do not have that saved on this computer). I did not expect him to take my money to 5/10 and 25/50.

I guess that I should have been more clear but I don't think it was that relevant in this situation. He obviously knew I wanted him at 2/4 for a while and he knows he [censored] up.

if you staked him to play 2/4 then whatever he does at bigger games is out of his own pocket.

disclaimer: never staked anyone or been staked

It's pretty clear that TcCorbin owes you money; pretty [censored] move by him overall; THIS IS STATED UNDER THE GUISE THAT YOUR POST IS 100% ACCURATE.

TBH, ur not getting anything back. If he needed to be staked, he probably doesn't have money. Sorry dude, just find someone who knows him and break his jaw and hands. Once it heals go back and repeat. Do this until you feel 4k has been redeemed. Good luck
