Wow that blurb was pretty ridiculous. A) Showing a card isn't cheating. B) WSOP wasn't at Binion's.

Showing a card, while allowed in cash games, is not permitted in tournament poker.

It really depends, if you are using it as a tactic then yes it is. The same goes for something I see in every tournament that I play, name pros talking to their opponent either heads up or in a multi way pot. This is definitely not permitted in tournament poker and the bigger names use is as a tool of intimidation and as a way to control the pot size. It is clear that it is not permitted but it is selectively enforced. This is not breaking a rule, it is cheating and the same goes for showing cards.

For the record, I do believe that you should be able to do both things in heads up pots in either tournament or cash game poker.
