Re: $400nl HU double check raise
Commenting on HU hands is weird without knowing the game-flow, history, reads, styles, etc.

Did you hit any of your outs to win?

Re: $400nl HU double check raise
This will work if you know he's capable of floating with air. On this type of flop you should be crin with a wide range so if he's good he'll be calling with a wide range. But he's never folding a better hand. But I do think you have the best hand a large percentage of the time and this way you get max value if he's bluffing because I don't think he shoves over your bet with air if you c/r and bet out.

Re: $400nl HU double check raise
I don't really see A high or an 8 folding turn on this board with that action so I think turn CR is OK. Betting out is prob better though cause I think he prob expects you to fire turn with whatever you checkraised flop with (so he might be planning to push over your bet with air -- and if he calls a turn lead with a weaker made hand he's calling rest on river anyway). Flop CR it just depends on opponent.

Re: $400nl HU double check raise
I guess you can pray for 99? Maybe A8? This doesn't seem terrible because its HU but I would like it better if you had some sort of read/history that could help you put him on a few hands that you beat/bluffs. It's probably fine if you have been aggressive oop so far and CRing a lot of flops. If that's the case maybe he even has 66-77, 8x, but most players would check the turn with these hands.
