Re: PSA 10r
[ QUOTE ]
Hm... Sorry, but I don't like 10 minutes levels at all. Why do you find them attractive? I stopped playing SHG partly because of 10 minutes levels... [/ QUOTE ] I'm guessing that they like the idea of 10 min levels because the $10 rebuy is a tournament that carries higher variance and a lower prizepool than the games they normally incorporate into their daily schedule. As such, if the tournament now has a decreased structure and will take much shorter from start to finish they can now justify playing it. Because despite the high variance; it is no longer particularly time consuming - and they figure their edge to be astoundingly huge against the type of player you find at this level. Also, it allows for a good aul gamble that is relatively cheap and won't take all day - which is fun. Or maybe I'm way off... |

Re: PSA 10r
For some reason I have decent results in the $10 10 min levels, I think players at the $10 level just don't have a great enough understanding of pot odds and when you should be shoving/folding, and with 10 min levels you approach this a lot faster. Also, it finishes way earlier obviously.

Re: PSA 10r
This structure greatly benefits the rebuy nuts who build a stack during the rebuy hour, since they will have even MORE chips relative to the blinds. The faster escalation of blinds will help the big stacks.
