If bLd is so good, why does h@LL always seem to be kicking his ass HU on stars 25/50? Everyone says H@LL is over rated and really is bad.. so if BLD is breakeven or slightly winning, that means he cannot be the world

i have to agree. everytime i load up stars ha££ is sitting with massive stacks. every time.

sure, he may have been putting in a 24+ hour sessions...

sure, he auto-rebuys to max everytime he dips below...

but c'mon...he has massive stacks so often. We're talking +15k 75% of the time. are you telling me he starts every session out losing a ridiculous amount of buy-ins everytime and that these massivo stacks are making him a decent but by no means sick profit? hmmm

i think he's due a lot more credit than some people give him.

The only player I've ever seen Ha££ consistently struggle with is Durrrr. Other than that he takes all-comers.

no no i know that. i'm saying if he dips to $4,500 for instance he'll rebuy to the max i.e. top up to $5k. i didn't mean the rebuy trick.

and i was going to mention - as far a taylor and cardrunners go...i think they are the best learning tool in poker. that goes for books, watching high stakes tv, reading and posting on 2+2 (sorry). i will never buy another poker instructional book again.

watching him and the others play has been the single best decision i have ever made in improving my poker.

i haven't stopped winning for a month playing the style GP and co. advocate. i used to be TAG and even NLHE 6-max was a grind. GP and CR taught me how to win big at 6-max.

Imagine you go allin every hand and have infinite money and you play 24h/day. You will have big stacks at every table you play; however you will not be a huge winner.

Well, this is true, and is outlined in Gordon's LGB.

But you know what, enough randoms stop by over the course of a year to pay Hall's bills, I'd imagine.

I'm definetly not the best but I'm definetly way better than Hallingg. My winrate and earnings are substantially better than him and I guarantee he'll eventually stop playing me or he will go broke.

A few of you guys really shouldn't say anything b/c u have no idea what you are talking about. Just because you play 1/2 NL poker doesn't mean you know anything (you may but I doubt it). Notice that the better players who have actually played me usually are on my side?

BLD, why did you start playing 25/50? I thought you didnt like the added variance. Even if you are better than Halling, you can easily lose 50k/day if you are a tiny bit unlucky.
