With as many people that hated the Godfather, Goodfellas, anything with a trace of violence in it the last thread like this I'm surprised to see so many quality films listed.

I don't think Seven, Usual Suspects or Matrix are nearly top 10 material.

I'm totally serious about Something About Mary. Even William Goldman said, 'I said THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY was the best movie of that year, and I still believe that...it was a brilliantly crafted script.'

Of course, he only wrote Butch and Sundance and adopted All the President's Men and wrote Princess Bride and Marathon Man while winning 2 Oscars.

Hoop Dreams is an excellent choice.

Those were my two favs from the 90s. Two movies that might not deserve to be top ten, but are definitely overlooked are Babe and Babe 2: Pig In the City. Trust me, don't hate. :P
