Re: A2o in CO M of 4, 14xBB
[ QUOTE ]
M=4.3, ~14bb, 3 to act, somewhat passive table, you have a connected A, shove. [/ QUOTE ] In terms of shove equity, being connected doesn't make A2 better than A6. It goes something like: AT >>> A9 > A8o > A5o > A7o > A6o > A4o > A3o > A2o in terms of shove equity. |

Re: A2o in CO M of 4, 14xBB
[ QUOTE ]
With 75 ante, just shove Its unexploitable and very +EV, i believe [/ QUOTE ] Technically, it is exploitable, but it's close enough that A4o would be unexploitable in the same spot. Assuming the people behind me aren't aggressive like in online tournaments, I would raise small and fold to a shove. If they are aggressive, I would shove, basically hoping that every now and then someone would fold a bigger ace which would be just enough to make it +ev. Calls from KQ and KJ would help too. |

Re: A2o in CO M of 4, 14xBB
easy shove people fold A10 and less here incorrectly and even higher live.
Guys also remember Betgo is a 40+ massive forarm old man at a live event he can shove weaker here then a 20 something tilt box. |

Re: A2o in CO M of 4, 14xBB
Assuming you get reshoved 15% of the time with the top 10% of the hands, and asusming that you get called 5% of the time if you open shove with the top 3% of the hands, then open shoving works out to be better than raise folding which is slightly better than raise calling, all of whcih are signficantly better than open folding.

Most of the time I'd open raise, but really depends on the players and etc. Against good players I'd just go allin. Actually I lied, most of the time I'd go allin Those are big antes. |

Re: A2o in CO M of 4, 14xBB
playing a hand faceup profitable implies an unexploitable play
saying something is an unexploitable play does not mean you could turn it faceup profitably... DUCY PEOPLE? |
