TSC,

it depends on what your team needs. it looks like may is more likely to get blocks, gomes seems like he'll get you some assists, which may be nice if you are dropping jackson (not sure if he gets any). also obviously this move helps more if you are somewhat lacking in boards or blocks, i think either is a drop off in points, but possibly an improvement in fg%.

as to which to pick up, both are going to quite likely lose a lot of playing time due to returning starters, so it's tough to say. al j is out indefinitely though and gomes was quite productive last year, so that's why i took him (plus i'm biased).

I get Gomes, b/c he showed how good he can be last yr. Also, Gerlad Wallace should improve at some point, and Brezec will return.

So you take Gomes just because you think Charlotte might be better overall?

BTW, I haven't made a move yet, but I am closely watching all three.

I'm a fantasy bball noob. Here's my team:
G- Kobe, Redd, Mike James, Ricky Davis, Luther Head
F- Rashard Lewis, Butler, Szczerbiak, Antoine Walker, McDyess, Kenny Thomas
C- Wilcox, Zaza

14 team league, H2H scoring. I'm super weak at center and my team lacks anyone who can get blocks. My turnover numbers will probably be pretty high too. But other than that my team is pretty strong in pts, 3pts, assists, and steals. My fg% and ft% isn't bad either.

Should I try to trade one of my point scorers to get a big man? If I try to strengthen blocks/rebounds, I won't always win those stats and I'll weaken myself across the board. In general, is it reasonable to accept that I'm going to bomb 1 or 2 categories each week in hopes of dominating the rest? How does the H2H scoring play into this?

Thomas is taken. Guys on the WW in order of 05-06 total blocks: Eddie Griffin, Adonal Foyle, Erick Dampier, Kendrick Perkins, Steven Hunter, Chris Mihm, Raef LaFrentz, and Tony Battie. Are any of those guys worth picking up? Who would you drop from my team?

Perkins might be better than McDyss later... watch him and his minutes. He gets blocks and boards fairly well and shoots a decent clip (not a lot of shooting at all).

Just tank blocks, it is not like one FA will help your team in that cat.
Focus in pts, 3pts, ft%, asts, stls and drop luther head and antoine walker and try to get some sleepers who may help you with rebounds and won´t hurt your %s. Try Mourning, Foster or another C or rebounding PF with good minutes.

I'd take a look at Perkins.

Btw, Chris Mihm is done for the season.
