Looks like they brought in their position-players to pitch after awhile. That's not uncommon in college but I wonder if they are regularly pitchers.
Either way, it's sure hard not to feel bad for guys like Jamison Torres and Homas Mathew. Torres - 2ip, 16h, 22r, 19er, 5bb, 3k, 3hp Mathew - 2ip, 15h, 20r, 11er, 8bb, 2k, 1hp Also: Attendance - 50

His first strikeout was the awesome Andrew Dillon (5-for-8, 9 rbi, 2 HR's) SWINGING.
And then later the rather lame hitting Dana Hanson (3-for-5, 3 rbi) looking.

Mathew - 2ip, 15h, 20r, 11er, 8bb, 2k, 1hp The Newbury coach had to be pretty persuasive to keep Torres from getting chucked. Newbury College 6th - Higham to p for Altman. Carroll reached on a fielding error by 3b, advanced to second on the error. Maddock singled to shortstop. Siedlecki singled up the middle; Maddock advanced to second; Carroll advanced to third. Mathew flied out to cf, SF, RBI; Carroll scored, unearned. DiClemente grounded into double play p to ss to 1b; Siedlecki out on the play. 1 run, 2 hits, 1 error, 1 LOB. Was that really necessary Carroll?
