Re: LV vs. AC
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] And unless you have a private plane I don't think you're gonna find a direct flight from ACY to LAS. [/ QUOTE ] You were doing well up until this sentence. [/ QUOTE ] Well, technically, the direct flights from ACY to LVS are currently being offered, but there have been a couple of news article about Spirit Airlines dropping the ACY/LVS route because it is not profitable, and they are looking to add more flights to southern island resort areas. |

Re: LV vs. AC
Still, I flew Spirit, ACY to LVS for $79 a couple of weeks ago.
Haha, maybe that's why they aren't so profitable. Still, the plane was almost full - would be poor planning if they could break even with planes that full. Would be a little sad to see it go. |

Re: LV vs. AC
Spirit offers some good deals if you sign up for its email mailing list. You could get to LV round trip for $130 from AC for certain dates in Dec.

Re: LV vs. AC
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The difference is the games in Las Vegas are 3000 miles to the west of Atlantic City. [/ QUOTE ] You're from Brooklyn and that's the best you can do? Plus if you are traveeling 300 miles to go from AC to Vegas you must be on a connecting fight. Fly direct you cheapskate! [/ QUOTE ] Most Americans are geographic ignoramuses, and northeasterners are particular bad since they tend to think civilization extends only from Boston to DC and from ocean to Appalachians, but 9" got close. My flight planner says 2239 miles from EWR to LAS. Google says driving is 2521 miles. And unless you have a private plane I don't think you're gonna find a direct flight from ACY to LAS. [/ QUOTE ] This north easterner managed to divide the distance by 10 and to misspell traveling. Doh! |
