Anyhow, common knowledge is:

Godfather 2 > Godfather
Terminator 2 > Terminator
Rocky IV > all other Rocky movies
Road Warrior >= Mad Max

As for almost every other sequel... no, not really. Originals are almost always better. There are too many dingbats who have terrible taste in movies and think silly things like Aliens > Alien, among other franchises.

Worst answer ever. Actually, picking Aliens over Alien is equally egregious. In terms of comic book movies I think Blade 2 was better than Blade.

I gotta disagree with this, I think Blade was a little better than Blade 2 and both of them were miles ahead of Blade Trinity.
