you can either take the free card or cont. bet.

i would lean towards cont. betting because the pot is pretty big and you do have 8 outs to hit your draw, and if he doesnt have a Q or K (which seems somewhat unlikely considering the raise and reraise call) you could hit your J or 10.

hands that i think are in his range that are beating you are 55, KK, QQ, AK, AQ, KQ.

i think KK, QQ, 55 might have chcked to induce a bluff, maybe even KQ too.

bet out and try to take the pot down

Hero bets $40, villain shoves. Pot is now $264 and it is $129 to call.

I think you are priced in. Don't have stove in front of me, though.

You don't need poker stove. This is an easy fold there. 8 outs perfectly clean needs 2.2:1. Here you're only getting 2.04:1, and on top of that - if you get shoved on then you have much less than 8 perfect outs since AK has one of your aces, KQ has 4 outs and sets obviously have tons of redraws.

-Really hate 'obv' comments.

Whats your image? Have you 3bet him alot or does he perceive you as a tricky player? If he considers you a standard tag, bet this flop and fold to a raise. If he considers you tricky, I like a check behind for a free card.

if we bet we are committed and imho there isnt enough FE in a bet to justify getting committed.

I go for a delayed c/bet, though I doubt he checks twice and then folds.

most likely he bets turn after w check, in which case a raise allin has some merits. just calling his turn lead is ok though too.

I bet the flop and fold to a shove. I think checking the flop and betting the turn if checked to again is fine though, people tend put me on monsters when I check flops in these spots.

Well if i decided i wanted to get all the money in on the flop, i would figure out a way to give him a chance to make a mistake. I think betting really small ($22?) and shoving over a CR gives him the most chances to make a mistake. If you're going to get it in anyway, at least let him have a shot of tossing away ~$70 more dollars with a hand he would fold to a larger flop bet.

Yea let's suck him in against our huge monstarrr draw!!

I don't like the idea of trying to induce a bluff check/raise in a rr pot against a tag. If he check/raises he's felting his hand.
