his isnt 3-betting many hands pf....he is waay too tight. 33/44/AK/KQ are definately in his range. his lfop aggression isnt overly aggressive. the board is seriously dry. he raised a lot against two opponents, which I dont see him doing w/ KQ. He obviously isn't too afraid of TPTK, so either he has it himsel, or he has it beat. his range really seems 33/44/AK. you can beat one of those. you either have to shove or fold...duh. you should have bet the flop much stronger, not 2/3 pot.

So I thought about it as I was leaving and didn't have time to respond. The major question I had was: what is my image? Normally I'm raising enough hands pre that AK would never flat call me pre, so maybe that's where my bias comes in. It's only a 50-hand sample and I can see a lot of weaker TAGs playing AK this way, so I had second thoughts. But I still think it's pretty borderline because regardless of sample size I still think the 2 deadly PPs need to be weighted a little more in the range.
So I change my response to not an easy fold, but I would sure as hell hope I had better reads to shove this, particularly regarding MY OWN image. |

This is hugely dependent on your image. [/ QUOTE ] I completely agree with this statement. |

multi-way, dry board, huge pot, position, a bet and a call, and few possible scare cards seems to meet the strict slowplaying requirements nicely. so would a set always raise there?
