Re: KK OOP vs. LAG nightmare flop
Agreed. I should have said that I don't think his expectation could be better than break-even playing half of his hands. His variance will be huge, and he could be a large winner for quite a long time.
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I don't doubt that he could play very well post-flop. I don't think anyone who plays half of his hands could end up a big winner in the game, though. [/ QUOTE ] LAGs like this can make a LOT of money over a large sample. All they need is for tham to hit more than an average number of their big draws and they get paid big time. LAGs make up the highest variance in my databases. Some are insanely profitable while others lose sickening amounts when they get cold cards against passive players. I'm sure it's a fun way to play - especially while you're running hot. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: KK OOP vs. LAG nightmare flop
Villain raises everything, so the ace on the flop doesn't bother me as much as it might. I'll take my chances. [ QUOTE ] I hated that flop. Should I have checked and let him (maybe) bluff on the flop? I didn't like the apparently loose guy OTB. [/ QUOTE ] With no heart, I think you just bet/call on the flop. Let the button tell you about his hand. [ QUOTE ] Turn? I didn't want to get bluffed off the best hand - so is a check/call any good here? [/ QUOTE ] There was no raise on the flop, and button is gone, so I'm just betting out here. If he can bluff-raise the second ace, with hearts out there, you have a hard decision. Given his wacky aggression, he gets called by me. |
