One thing that occurs to me is that the backdoors would, at first glance, seem to make the flop call standard. But a card that help you on the turn is probably going to be a card, against these two that mean it's going to cost $120 on the turn to see the river.

The river plays itself.

Are we really considering not betting here?

Yes someone holding the A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] is possible, the 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] much less likely.

I just cannot see not betting when checked to. Sure it would be sickening to get check-raised, but is there enough reason to believe we're beat not to bet?

Please help me understand. Thanks ...

You should bet this river. You know CPC isn't going to checkraise, so that's not an issue, and if Patrick raises you most definitely should call.

I had two decisions to make on the turn. The turn and the turn.

o yeah.

they both seem correct, pot is big! you are beind almost always, and the board is scary, but you have 3.5 outs here...no?

even if you dont, im not worried about it and you have good position to make correct river decisions.
