Re: NL200: monster out of position
I would normally bet here against an unknown, prob around 1/2 - 3/5 pot, just enough to leave him thinking he has the right implied odds for trying to make his hand and if he is not drawing lets him think he has showdown value dependent on river because of weakish bet. TBH I am probably double barrelling that board 50% of the time even with air/outside draw because it looks so strong,
Against more aggressive players i c/c / c/r turn, then either lead river or check river to induce bluff depending on opponent. I really like cs3's advice. |

Re: NL200: monster out of position
I think betting something like 17 would be good, make it look like a defensive bet.

Re: NL200: monster out of position
lots of draws came in on the turn. so i'd bet a hope he raises.
any line we take is gonna seen strong, except c/c I guess, but that feels too weak and we win the min against his strong hands w/that line, unless we c/r the river as well...but I really hate checking 2 street w/a monster against an unknown. |

Re: NL200: monster out of position
I like betting and hoping he has hit a draw much more than checking and hoping he has hit a draw.

Re: NL200: monster out of position
If villain was Agg then I'd say check/shove. But we don't know that so if we check and villain checks we lose serious potential mulla.
Villain is either coming along for the ride or not so I'd say bet 1/2 pot and take it from there. 1/2 pot give villain opportunity to bluff. |
