I want in. roto >> HU. Having a deep league with lots of teams would be pretty cool and a bigger test of baseball knowledge than standard 10-12 team leagues.

season starts in 6 weeks, i'd like to have the draft done maybe 2-3 weeks before season starts.

enough time to see who gained 100 pounds over the winter, or who is throwing 100 mph and looking healthy after an injury or w/e. conversely, we need a couple weeks to tweak rosters, make side bets against each other, and of course TRADES.

Sunday March 18 gives 2 weeks before the season starts but also allows enough time to account for Prior, Gagne, and JD Drew to hurt themselves in spring training.

Most likely they will wait & injure themselves during the season but good point, not that I would draft any of these bitches.

I'm interested. I'm partial to the standard 5x5 roto leagues.

roto can be based on different things but typically its on point accumulation based on the categories as an entire league. With head to head (or HU as we love to call it here), you play one individual team every week and your rankings are based first on your record and THEN on points accumulated in the event of tied records (in roto there arent weekly head to head matches).

I'd love to be in this. And I vote for HU as well. While roto may be less "variance", HU is way more fun.
