I think like everything else position and the players in the hand matter more than anything else. I think NOT doing those kind of plays once in a while is a losing tactic. You gotta give a bit of action and show some looseness/aggressiveness when you have nothing, so when you do have a hand you'll get paid off.

That's why nits rarely make money off good players.
