lol also especially since the flush hit, and you made your boat you should bet that turn, if he doesnt call that bet there isnt much of a chance your going to get any more money out of him anyways

check on the turn was to try to get the villain to bluff the river - I thought there was a good chance that he was push c/r my normal c-bet. There were a few times in the first couple orbit where I would raise a hand like AQ/AJ, c-bet a missed flop and give up on the turn (on a bad board). So I thought that because I had already done that and shown weakness on earlier hands (I folded to river bets after checking the turn) that I would get paid off here with a wider range of hands

Really I did not put enough thought into what he might have c/r the flop with.

Raise flop, raise turn. Your turn check is revolting for several reasons.

I'm OK with the flop. As you've said the turn is bad though.

For what reasons?

if he called the flop, the only "draw" got there, he must have something worth calling with, I def make a weak bet on the turn hoping he raises me.
as played raise huge on river.

I don't think some of you are realizing just how powerful out hand is compared to what we are probably up against on the flop.

We have top set of KK and on a draw heavy board we make a standard continuation bet. The BB who called out of position now raises us. NOW LETS PUT HIM ON A RANGE OF HANDS! AK,KQ,KJ-unlikely, AK 3bets us here all day long esp. against a lag, kq ,kj very unlikely because we have 2 of th eKings.
2 flush cards of diamonds- ya it makes sense. laggy players like to semi bluff especially when our line looks like a standard c-bet which we will give up to a raise.

In that case we have to make the third raise to make him make a mistake of calling a large raise with a draw we almost for sure we know he has( he may have gutshot+diamonds).
