Re: Win rates / # of tables
I got about 30k hands of 50NL for this month. Winrate is at 2.31PTBB/100
Quick observations: - I know I have lots of stuff to fix so I'm not too worried about that winrate right now and am sure it will improve once I invest more time into improving. That being said I think a 2PTBB/100 winrate is doable with understanding basic concepts and not tilting too much - I 6 table with a horrible hardware setup (I play on a laptop with overlapping minimized tables :P) and notice a big difference in concentration on detail between 6 and 4 tabling. When I 6 table I have to hurry when taking notes just to not time out on other tables. I also take less notes and tend to pay little to no attention to hands I'm not involved in which is horrible |

9 tabling. Moving to 12 when I avg 5PTBB/100 over 50K hands.
Moving to 9 tabling 100NL when I avg 5PTBB/100 over 100K hands. Thems the goals I'm working towards. |

Hail Eris - The games are harder?
Mook - That is exactly what I was looking for. How on earth have you never posted that before/I've never seen it?! Your last 150k hands looks sick good. Great commitment there too, good job. |

Hail Eris - The games are harder? [/ QUOTE ] Can't be that that much harder. Not only do I see the same fish doing the same stupid [censored], but back when I was killing 50NL last year, I ran like 33/15/1.5 with no software, and I feel like my game is better by a huge margin now. Also, I've been on Stars the entire time. |

Re: Win rates / # of tables
I find it difficult to calculate winrates; I try to see over how many simultaneous tables I can make the correct decision with every pocket dealt and every turn of a card(s).
As hard I try, I'm way too sloppy when I have more than 10 (6-Max) going on at the same time. However I'm very good at 12-tabling nanostakes full-ring. I know it is possible to execute an excellent game in the long run over more than four tables. But to me in seems as if there is an indirect relationship between the number of those tables and how long you can continue and still play as close to perfect as you can. In haste you might make some pretty crazy calls or miss a few things that could win you a few more extra bets from opponents. |

Re: Win rates / # of tables
Over 37.5k hands at 50NL averaging 6.4 tables, i have WR of 3.14PTBB/100. This includes a period of time where I was suckier and sometimes playing less tables. Now I play 7-9 tables and in the 16k hands since then I have run at 4.81PTBB/100. This is done on 19" monitor with overlap and I am not a nit/setminer, so I would say it is definitely possible to play a reasonably solid game over lots of tables.
