About 10 yrs ago, was invited to a party my sister and her hippie boyfriend held. I was content to drink beer and eat wings 'till I saw 3 guys I really didn't know smoking *something* out of a bong. Thinking it was weed, I took 3 drags and suddenly I slowed WAY down, to the point where I could only get 1 word out every 5 secs or so when spoken to. Eventually, it was too much effort to keep my eyes open and every time they closed, my stomach did loops...after about 30 mins of this, I hurled (could have been the beer, though). Eventually I recovered enough to go home. Those guys were gone the next day, so I have no "official" confirmation what I smoked, but based on what I know, I'm 99.273% sure it was opium (it sure as hell wasn't weed).

Pretty much out of it for 3 hrs or so, then recovered enough to drift home to my apt 1 block away and go to sleep...next day, all was well. (Assuming you're talking to me and not OP).

yeah id love an explanation if someone has one, cuz this happens to me on occasion and is the reason I quit smoking weed. Its like a super anxiety attack but im high as [censored] at the same time.

Just accept the fact that your body cant handle weed and quit getting high. Im suprised you did it a 3rd time.

Also get better friends, WTF kicking you out in the rain when you are effed up? Thats some of the most weaksauce [censored] ive heard, id prolly go back the next day when i was sober and kicksomeones ass.

when i first started smoking i would get ridiculously high, like almost to the point where i would hallucinate, and i thought i could hear sound waves, which always sound metallic. i've also smoked so much i forgot how to burp and as a result wound up puking.

ok i just went back and read through your post, you sound a lot like me. if you don't enjoy smoking at all then just stop, i finally figured out that my problem was just smoking too much. i thought that since you can't OD and die on weed it was cool to smoke as much as i could, but i've since learned that it's simply not true.

OP you aren't the only one with this problem. I was a pot-head in high school but when I got to college I had the same experiences as Alobar. I got really paranoid, would start freaking out and the whole experience was quite unpleasant so I quit. It's been close to a year since my last smoke and although I miss it at times it was probably best that I quit.
