[ QUOTE ]
"If you are sitting at a real money table with AA in late position and you bet 6 blinds after everybody has just called, they just call you with Q7 ( because it's only $0.24 ) and hit 2 pair on the flop.
Nobody respects a raise at these tables. Yesterday I was trying a playmoney table again ( which is something I will never do again ) and I bet $10 000 with KK after everybody had called a $1000 blind. EVERYBODY called me ( 6 f*cking players ). How the hell can you narrow a field ????
They just pay it off and hope to get lucky one time. When they get lucky, they just push the all in button. Most of them have never heard about odds. I'm a fan of small pot poker but that's just impossible on internet."

wow, just wow

How does high card w/e really work things like high jack, high king etc.

Someone please post with detailed info or give me examples of hands thanks a lot

A reply with a good example:

Let's say the board is 5 - 9 - J - Q - 10. If you have A2 and your opponent has K3, than you have the best hand because A - Q - J - 10 - 9 is better than K - Q - J - 10 - 9

"My solution would be play ULTRA TIGHT.

Only play monster hands or when you have the odds to draw. Don't bluff (obviously).

If your preflop raises are always getting called, only raise preflop with AA, KK, QQ."

"You really shouldnt be complaining about short stack players ... they get pot committed almost on every pot they enter ... and yes it does apply to cash games *if* you employ a short stack strat.

Its why you really shouldnt do it."

Chew on that MrChooChoo

ZOMG LOL! The "Low stakes - respect the raise" thread in the cash game forum is a [censored] goldmine!

[/ QUOTE ]

QFT, holy [censored] is that thread amazing.

The general consensus there is that when playing at a table full of fish, don't buy in full so you can minimize your losses when they suck out on you.

Hahaha, this makes me feel so good about the survival of online poker.

Yeah, I didn't really think about that part.

I was just too overwhelmed with the "advice" given out on this forum that I got ahead of myself
