Owens is only 33, is #19 in all time receptions, #17 in yards, #4 in receiving TDs.

Marvin is 34, with #4, #8, #3 in the same catagories.

Moss is only 29 but is #32, #21, #5. Then again this is a different ERA. Only thing that worries me about Moss is his QBs in Oakland. If he has great QBs the rest of his career he's a mortal lock.

Jimmy Smith Retired. I didn't include Bettis for the same reasons. I didn't include players who just retired as well who aren't in. I'm not exactly sure. He's #7 receptions, #12 yards, #31 Tds and 5 PBs and he's retired. He'll probally get in though.

Are WRs today going to get looked less upon because there are so many more good WRs then the ones in the past. In comparison to those in the past, their stats are amazing but then again the last 15 years teams have passed a ton more then they ever did before this era? Is that what will hurt TO and Moss who in most eras would be lead pipe locks?

As mentioned by others, the NFL HOF is a lot more selective than other HOFs. You have way too many. Here's my paring down of your list:

[ QUOTE ]

QB:
Peyton
Brady
Favre

RB:
Faulk

WR:
Harrison

OL

Larry Allen
Orlando Pace

DE

Strahan

OLB:

Seau
Porter
Derrick Brooks

ILB:

Z. Thomas
Lewis
Urlacher

K:

Viniteri

[/ QUOTE ]

This is a thread of "locks" not people who might get in. The above are locks. The ones I erased are people who have a chance. Some even have a good chance. But they aren't locks yet.

As for Warner, no way in hell he gets in. He had 3 great years. He's been NFL quality since then, but he hasn't been HOF quality since 2001. And because his stats during that stretch are very similar to Trent Green's in 2000 (when Warner was injured) and Bulger in 2002 (when Warner was injured again), I think voters will think of him as a system QB and nothing more.

The NFL HoF is very selective. There is no way this many current players make it unless they drastically change the way they operate. Guys like Sam Madison and Willie Anderson are not even close, IMO. And guys like Zach Thomas or Joey Porter are very far from being locks too.
