Im betting the turn in hand 1. If he calls check behind on the river. If you check here you pretty much have to call a river bet on a blank river, so why not bet here instead for near the same out and get more value when you are ahead and still have some equity when you are behind. Protects against the FD too.

Hand 2- Im gonna block here I think. Lead for like 1/2 potish, maybe he folds a flush once in a while, you will have the best hand once in a while. Keeps the pot smaller IMO.

My thoughts are quite simliar with this. Hand 1 I dont like letting a free flush hit, and if you check you can expect them to bet with a super wide range.

Hand 2 thoughts are ditto.

hand 1: check behind then c/c the river

hand 2: he's obviously playing any 2 cards and a 4 is definitely in his range. Usually i would lead at it and fold to a push but because u said he is a nut he might push u off your hand with air so just c/c

Hand 2 bet more on the turn, push the river

i dont see how pushing achieves anything, majority of the time u only get called by a winner
