Re: Quality of play in Omaha-events so far(WCOOP)?
Let's put it this way:
I'm a regular PLO player (50 to 100) who currently has a $2K roll because I cash out too often to move up safely (I'm a bankroll uber-nit). I blew 430 w$ in the 6-max PLO events on Saturday (WCOOP plus the second chance) when I played well but couldn't win a single 60/40 flip. I'm still salivating at the thought of playing in the $530. The main trick is to accurately determine what kind of PLO newb your opponents are. NLHE LAGs can often stumble into near perfect PLO strategy without realizing how or why (although this is probably more likely in the shallower structures used in most tourneys). |
