How does everyone's opinions change when you are in position, say the CO or button, and get 3 bet out of the blinds?

Isnt folding AK to a 3 bet from an unknown a little weak? Im not sure that I like any of the options, but just folding has to be wrong doesnt it? Calling has its merits even though you are folding a ton after the flop. I am gonna guess that 4 betting is best, especially depending on your image. However, with that being said, even though I feel 4 betting is best, I guess it really cant be best by much. I just feel like folding is sooo weak here. The way I play I wish people would fold AK to my 3 bets, I would make so much more money.

it depends a lot on the limit you're playing. On NL5, a typical villain's 3bettingrange is much tighter than at NL100. on the low limits, i agree with cleaner, calling AK against a 3bet OOP isn't profitable. at NL50 and above i 4bet/call nearly all the time.
