Re: Computer glitch/slow-running/I dunno
Open up the task manager. What does your CPU and Page File usage look like. Is there any process that has a constant high CPU usage? Post a screenshot of the process and performance tab if you'd like. When your computer has these hiccups, can you hear your hard drive chugging?

Re: Computer glitch/slow-running/I dunno
no noise, constant, steady hiccups really.
nothing is spiking in my CPU usage except for S24EvMon.exe and services.exe and they are not constant and the highest they've been individually is 8 |

Re: Computer glitch/slow-running/I dunno
I suspect this could be a hardware problem but I'll continue to troubleshoot it.
1) What is your Page File usage in task manager? You still have a ton of programs running and I'm curious if you're venturing in the realm of virtual memory. 2) Defrag your hard drive. |

Re: Computer glitch/slow-running/I dunno
Also, I've read a few things that might link this to a "CMOS battery" error, any ideas on that?
