I was going to write a long, serious post about my experiences (both positive and negative) in staking. But I'll just go with a simple analogy.

Staking is like hooking up with a really hot crazy girl. It can work out really well, and when it does, you feel like you're on top of the world. But if you do it often enough, at least once you'll end up with a dead cat on your doorstep and a Q-tip in your dickhole at the clinic.

That's pretty funny / true but I'd def be interested in your long, serious reply if you feel like writing it at any point.

Little John,

You make some good points.

Just to clarify how a staking arrangment can be good though - let's say a person (who for the sake of argument is 100% trustworth, idk, your mom maybe) is a winner at the $27s. She, for one reason or another, has to withdraw all her money but $100. It would often be +EV for both the staker and the stakee to work out an agreement that would keep the stakee playing the $27s. For instance their cut of profits may be more than what they could make at the 3.40s and also the staker stands to make some passive income.

Your points are certainly still valid though. But that's what I meant when I said I saw a chance for a mutually beneficial situation.

[/ QUOTE ]

Lets say player X has $100 and would have the following ROI's:

$3.40 = 25%
$6.50 = 20%
$16 = 15%
$27 = 10%

So he plays 200 $3.40's (+$170), 300 $6.5's (+$390), 300 $16's (+$720), now he has $1380 to go play the $27.

Under the staking arrangement he uses your money to play 800 $27's, he would make $2160, pay you back $675, and have $1485.

So with these types or ROI's and number of games played he would be up $205. It is pretty close for the person being staked. The real benefit for the person being staked is they can pretty much cut and run at any time.

I have only had amazing experiences with people I have staked. Then again, I've only had amazing STTFers like bluefeet.

Why do people do [censored] like this? Selfish pricks. People screwing other people over really pisses me off.

Do you have his real name and where he's from?

Meh - you know to be honest, I don't really care. I imagine there will be some sort of downswing that ends with him playing $115s. It doesn't have much of an effect on things either way.

[/ QUOTE ]

He's running -4% ROI at the 110's according to scope. He's played a couple no-no multis to, an 8.8 and the 3 ribeye, according to OPR.

Sorry dude.

Can't imagine Rick's not reading this.

Never too late to make it right.
