i think checking the flop is fine. i'd probably fire the turn and don't have any money left on the river if he calls.

Bet $50 into 80 on the turn. Makes the pot 180 on the river with $120 left behind. I think a 2/3 bet looks like a value bet. I think we still have FE, do u?

so????

[/ QUOTE ]so isn't that a huge part of his range?

He's never calling one street and folding to 1/2 pot shove, so I think thats dumb.

Options are:
1) dont put any money in- check and fold whenever he bets
2) bet 50ish on the flop
3) bet 50ish on the turn

Also, 3bet size? I didnt think about it and just hit the "pot" button

why give up?

[/ QUOTE ]because I thought I'd be giving him my money, and I like money.

?

Seriously though, I just dont think he would ever fold a pair to me on this flop, and once he called the flop bet he'd only have 1/2 pot left.

heres what I'm hearing, you've assigned him a range, you've decided what he'll do with that range, and you can math the rest out. I assume your question is then, is this too weak on the turn since he could have random SCs or something, but again, just add that to his range, figure out the FE you need for different size flop bets and try and find which one has the most optimal EV to it. I'm assuming with the range you choose(88-QQ, not much else), it would be either c/f, or b small, b small, c/f, but again, if you've done the work, just solve the rest out <3. Its all guess work at this point anyway. Games of incomplete information are fun!
