Default Re: KK faces A on turn against TP villain

Villan's got TT/JJ. Depending on HOW passive he is (will he call down or will he fold?) you can either bet or check (the check would be because you figure he'll fold to a bet at the ace, so you're just praying that he'll bluff the river if you check behind...if you don't think he folds, keep betting).

Edit: two things, first, why is everybody worried about getting c/r'd on the turn? If this guy is really TP he's not going to pfr/call-donk/call-check/raise basically ever...he doesn't pfr with any hand that hit the flop, and he doesn't donk the flop with UI overcards, even AK. So stop worrying about it. If Hero's read is right, we're ahead on the turn 100%. Second, for the same reason, checking behind the river if he smooth-calls Hero's turn bet is ridonkulous. If the river is a T or J you can bet/fold, anything else is a bet/call.

Now I'm just waiting to be told that he did in fact have AK/AQ/whatever, Hero called his turn c/r and called one on the river, too. If that's the case, your read is off.
