Re: The Godafther: Is Kay Worse Than Michael?
[ QUOTE ]
* Kill an anonymous hooker in order to frame a U.S. Senator. [/ QUOTE ] I was always under the impression that Tom Hagen set that one up while Michael was on the road with the Hyman Roth business. |

"Then to pour salt on the wound, she let's him know it was a boy, which is a fairly big deal to an Italian man."
Alot of people dont know this, but the orginal cut has her preparing 'sauce' during this scene and right after the confrontation she opens a bottle of ketchup into the pot of sauce and spits into it, which is another thing Italian men really hate. |

Re: The Godafther: Is Kay Worse Than Michael?
[ QUOTE ]
What do you mean what happened to his face? As for Kay - yeah, totally heinous act. She was a good "family women" but I think she was pushed over the edge. She was expecting to be part of a legitimate business, as promised by Michael, and when nothing changed, she went over the edge. You also have to remember that all women are inherently crazy. :P Godfather is my favorite movie by the way - not so much the second one because part of it doesn't make sense. [/ QUOTE ] He did not age well. DeNiro, too. |

When you realize DeNiro's actual age, that's probably too harsh.

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, but what better way to get back into Michael's good graces than to pwn the Senator who dissed him? Also, Michael didn't even know what his kids had gotten for Christmas upon his return. It's not like they were burning up the phone lines while he'd been gone. I'm sticking with my original assessment. |

Re: The Godafther: Is Kay Worse Than Michael?
I think this is a bad reading.
You remember the cover of the book and the poster? Strings being dangled, playing the puppets. Michael was not just another character in the play. He pulled the strings. |
