Sounds like you have a drinking problem. The trick now is learn how incorporate into daily life. Eat a full meal before drinking and stick to beer, hard liquor increases the chance of a bad hangover. If you must drink liquor buy the good stuff. Try to get a good night of sleep.

Have fun, but be very careful. Talk to some alcoholics or family members of alcoholics to see what you could become.

I know this sounds really lame - but I know quite a few people that have completely ruined their lives by falling into full-out alcoholism.

A 30 pack? I couldn't even drink that much water if I had been wandering a desert for 3 days.

I used to worry about having a drinking problem. Then I realized that worrying about how much I was drinking was cutting into my drinking time.

In fact, posting here has delayed the consumption of at least a shot of vodka. So I'm done here.

I'd say I guess it depends on how old you are. If you're in college, you're most definitely an alchy, but it's somewhat age appropriate. I know a hand full of guys who probably drank as much as you and were able to just stop for the most part once they got jobs post college. On the other hand, I know a couple guys who didn't stop, and after you graduate, it's not semi-funny in a vice-that-everyone-can-accept and love and grudgingly respect kind of way. You're a degen with a drinking problem.

It's a bad habit. I used to drink a fifth of whiskey a day. I stopped. I feel better, look better, am better. Suggest you do the same.
