If the chip shuffling actually blocked out the analyst commentary, I'd say we need microphones on the chips.

[/ QUOTE ] That's not a bad idea, maybe even put a mic on the players so we could hear them too. Arg but then the sound of the chips rattling would be amplified by both mics and still be louder |

I personally like the sound.
And since I finally mastered the chip shuffle, I use it regularly. |

Did you ever watch "Poker After Dark?" It is on at 2am. They do mike those chips. In fact they got a good deal on the speakers that Led Zeppelin used during their "Song Remains The Same" tour. But i'm pretty sure they did us a favor and kept the volume dial on 11.

Re: Does the sound of players shuffling their chips at the table bothe
Well somebody must like it or they would'nt mike those chips. Consider this a pulic health bulliten, If I can raise some doubt, In just one person's mind, about the possibility of 1000 different strains of bacteria, adapting micro-viruses, and corrupted left handed amino acids, that may be on those chips, that person may stop playing with his chips. And If that happens, I have made the poker world a safer and quieter place.
