F HoH, I played losing/breakeven poker for 9 months before I realized it had brought my game down. I reread TPFAF and promptly made 2 rebuy FTs in 2 days.

If you can fully grasp TPFAP without 2-3 months of breakeven+ playing, you're going to shock me.

That's why I recommend HoH, to get you to at least break even level.

I did too, actually. But then I went to HoH and it was much more effective at conveying concepts to novice players.

TPFAP never touches the mindset you should take regarding placing your opponent on hand ranges anywhere near as effectively as HoH, for instance. It does extrapolate on extracting monster amounts of value from these ranges though.
